IDK... I got a buddy in the NG, he said that when he turned 37 he moved up to an easier PT bracket so it could be current.... Question is, how do you have to complete the push up / sits ups on the chart? I'm thinking like 2-3 days....

I've always enjoyed Stew Smith. Although he is more Navy SEAL focused, he's got some good reads and workouts for Army SF and what not as well...

If you're thinking of enlisting, in basic training 50% is passing, for the rest of the Army 60% is the standard.

National Guard?.....Ahh heck no, it just takes about 5 minuntes and 5 or 10 bucks or a 12 pack to get someone to sign the paper for ya ;)

The requirements do look about right for that age group though. And once you are over 40 ya dont even have to pay to get the papers signed;)

The Guard has more important things to worry about such as doing their jobs really well, without them these days the Active component would be some hurting puppies:)

It would actually be a reenlist and no, I'm not. Was just curious on what the requirements for my age would be, specifically the 2 mile run. An easy 2-mile run, which I do 3 days a weeks, I am running in about 18 minutes, I hate running early morning, but due to time, that's what I do. If I am feeling good and pushed it pretty hard, I can run it in the low 16's. Was curious where I would fall. Push-ups I think I could do 50 in the 2 minutes. Sit ups...well, I can sit up.
