TOOL LOGIC SL3 - SURVIVAL/FIRE KNIFE

ToolLogicFireKnife.jpg

This is a knife that belongs in every survival kit. I'm always recommending including multi-functional items in your survival kit, and this is one of them! The one hand open blade is 42012 stainless steel honed razor sharp, with 50/50 serrations for cutting rope and cord. The back of the handle has a built-in whistle for signaling. The top of the handle contains a genuine Swedish Firesteel® firestarter that will create sparks even when wet. This knife will fulfill 3 component groups of a survival kit, Knife - Fire - Signaling. Overall length closed: 4"

I would recommend getting a stronger knife and a separate firemaker. I like Tool Logic products for around town, but they're just not sturdy enough for a lost in the woods scenario.
