Jan 12-13. Anyone going? Anyone been before? I thought I'd make the

1.5 hr. cruise over there and check it out. Probably Sat.(maybe both days if I don't make it all the way through.)

I think they charged $7 to get in at the last one. I've been several times and have bought and sold to people just walking around inside and outside. There is a lot of stuff I'm not really interested in but its fun to look at it anyway. I've never been to a gunshow anywhere else except at the Civic Auditorium in Kpt. and Meadowview is way bigger than that.

Yeah, I've been.

I might drive over and hang around in the parking lot. I'd rather waste my $7 (or whatever it is now) on a pizza.

Last show I went to there I wandered around a lot. Got irritated at the high prices and walked out only buying a bunch of 30 caliber cleaning brushes.

I'd rather patronize my local gun shops.

Meadowview is the best show in the Tri-Cities, but then 2 of the 3 shows in the area are owned by RK Shows now.

Shows lately have been a buyers market. Sales have been hard to come by and folks seem to be haggling more.

I'll probably go. I think meadowview is the best for the area. I just enjoy looking and occasionally there will be a different vendor or something new on a table. I rarely buy anything. I'm hoping to find some P-Mags but I'm sure they'll be marked up. The thing I don't understand about the shows is that you can visit a local shop and find better deals.

What's your favorite one around here??

I probably show up more at Guns R Us in Bristol, but Mike's stock is terrible.

I used to like Top Notch, but they are gone. So I also drop in to Gunslingers and The Gun Rack pretty regularly.

I used to love stopping at Top Notch when I was up that way. You could just pull up a stool and shoot the sh.. errr breeze and have a coke, or find a good deal on something.

Gunslingers has a great milsurp room as I have mentioned before.

I don't think I'll go inside this show, but if anyone want to meet there in the lot tomorrow, let me know. I'll wear my WWI revolver.

Well, I went. It was crazy how many people were there. I don't remember the Meadowview show ever being that big. The area of the hall the show was contained in seemed bigger than usual. As far as guns, I wasn't blown away, as in there didn't seem to be a tremendous amount of guns there to justify the crowd, but it was better than the show I attended there in the fall. I had to park what seemed like a half a mile away, but I lived! As far as what I found, I got to fondle a dark earth .45 M&P, the first of it's kind I've seen in person. I saw a good deal on a Benelli M2 but parted ways before my plastic bought it. I saw a couple of new Sig P250s, very nice, and Gunslingers had a cool looking re-finished P6. There seemed to be a few new vendors that I did not remember seeing in the past. All in all, I felt better about the $8 I spent today than the $7 I wasted at the last Gray Fairgrounds Show.
