I really like the looks of the PPK. I owned one and it constantly jammed so I sold it. Anyone have any success with this gun? Inquiring minds want to know.

Jammed how? Mine was failure-to-feeding 3 months ago. I think it may be due to the shape of the bullet's nose. It didn't like the sharp forward edge of the carry ammo. Gonna try a variety until this is resolved.

Mine was stovepiping as well as failing to feed. I was using factory FMJ ammo.

if it is the size you like why not just go with the PPS?

Read the OP too fast. Sorry. If you make it to the next shoot, I'll bring mine with some different ammo shapes and we'll see if mine misbehaves like yours. I really want this one situated cause it feels right in my pocket and hand. I'd like to lighten the trigger if there're no ill effects, too.

Mine's a post WW II model Walther PPK in .32 acp and it runs well with bout anything you feed it.

They are fine weapons...at least the German manufactured ones are. Never had any range time with the other versions of the PPK.

There are some reasonable arguments for carrying ball ammo in .380's anyway. I have Gold Dots in my LCP when I carry it, but may switch to ball when I get a chance to ponder it more.

Got ball in it now because it seems to be my best shot till further testing. I have to assume it'll hurt my assailant.

I intend this for closequarters through no-use-of-sights pointshooting. I just wanna shoot 'em through the eyeballs or give 'em a free tracheotomy!

A .380 isn't THAT feeble. I snickered at them 30 or so years ago, but they're a tool like anything else. There's worse stuff than a 9mm short.

i dropped a coyote at 30 yds. and got a running feral cat at 75 ft with my ppk. cat was in all likelyhood luck but mine seems to be very accurate

I have a PPK and a PPK/S. Both are Interarms.

Both eat anything I feed them.
