It doesnt matter if your great or not, greatness can be taught. There are many tools on the new bnet that you can use to better yourself at SC. Aside from the research, diving in is a great way to learn.

Price is a bit too high. Where is the LAN option?! No off line game play? This anti-piracy crap has gone too far.

Price is in line with all other new release's. No LAN does bother me, but there is offline gameplay.

Hmm Ok. So the couple of articles I have read on the offline game play is false. Well, that is good. What you pay for it? (I'm gonna have to wait til I got a job...)

About $60 if I recall right, I preordered so long ago I dont remember. When you try to log in if you fail it will give you the option to play offline.

Edit: I believe you still need a bnet ID though, which WILL require you to have some form of net access though.

Metal beat my ass in about 2 seconds. However, he had the decency to teach me some of his ninja Terran moves.

Buy the game guys, we had a blast playing. I suck really bad but still had a fun time.

I'm not usually much of an RTS fan, but I'm totally hooked on SC2.

There's a user on youtube that hosts some good replay commentaries by the name of HD StarCraft. His enthusiasm and announcer voice occasionally cracks me up, but they're worth watching, if you're into that sort of thing.
