Second Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Recommended Posts

well, it is really in Barataria Bay , directly south of New Orleans.

Seems today there was a second oil Spil in the gulf that is not being covered by major news media, or at least I haven't found it yet. As person in the state of LA told me about it while I was helping him with a computer problem today.

Seems a boat run over a capped oil well and it was leaking oil/gas.

the person that told me about it, told me to go to The Times-Picayune however I went there and Could not if.

Here is a link. I searched Google and found it here.

Saw this on Fox yesterday. If I recall correctly it is a small well in about 6 feet of water. It was throwing a stream of oil and natural gas into the air. According to the article I read this is a "fairly common" occurrence that usually goes unnoticed by the mainstream media. Thankfully it is small in scope compared to the ongoing BP disaster. Still terrible though.

I saw it on Fox as well the other day, it is a 4" pipe I believe and from what I read, "not a big deal". It was shooting light oil and gas about 20ft into the air.
