Many, of not most, folks wouldn't want to have it for free. Too dangerous - to the user.

Were they a little to subtle in thir hints? I would trade you a Davis for your H&R, if I could be sure no one saw me buy the Davis!

It would make a good weight at the bottom of an aquarium to hold the plants down, only if it didnt poison the fish that is.

What's wrong with the SIG Mosquito and the Walther P-22? No Hi-Points Either! I still don't want to live in Chicago? :)

Oh and back on the subject, Don't know what model H&R you have , but I wouldn't trade it for a Davis either!

Ive got a 922 model, that belonged to my grandparents. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I don't think its especially valuble but the fact that it's been in my family for so long makes it cool.

I think 22 revolvers are fun to shoot, and it's a great gun to use to introduce new shooters to revolvers with without hurting their hands so much they never want to shoot again.

I vote to keep it.

The Davis semi-auto firearms sell for about $120 brand new. They will work, but they are cheaply made. They are generally not reliable enough for daily carry. Some people really enjoy messing around with the Davis, Bryco, Jennings and Raven pistols. They are all related. But they are not for newbies, and they are not firearms of quality and substance. The H & R revolvers on the other hand are really nice revolvers, and your 922 is a gun you should hang on to. It will last for years, and give you many enjoyable days at the range.

I was wondering that, too. Threaded barrel?

I'm a little bit offended to find my N.A.A. Mini on that list as well. I've owned it for years, and it has yet to go off on it's own.
