Picked up this new one today. My wife seems to think I need to get some professional help. I think she is probably right, so I'm going to take her advice and call someone in the morning to give me advice on enlarging the gun room.

That's probably the best lookin' Ruger SR I've ever seen! I think it's that grip extension I like. I don't know much about Ruger's SR line. Does that extension come with it or is it aftermarket?

It looks just like the one on my hip :) Twins they be.

Yea KB that grip extension comes with as does the slip on for the 17 rounder and a flat bottom for the 10.

I am sure it will be well loved very soon, they are sweet shooters.:)

That's good to know. I've seen pics of that model with the flat bottom and with the 17 rounder, but they didn't look near as good as the picture above!

I "like" it also but the thing tends to poke me when carried in my belly band so I carry mine with the 17 and a spare 17 with the slip-on super glued in place so that mag is dedicated to that gun only and marked on the bottom as such. I would hate to be trying to change mags and have the slip on try to slip off, even though it would still work.

But most important..... you do NEED one, but be forewarned if you do get one you may well start selling all those glocks.:)

You're an amazing optimist, Sgt. Joe! :)

Yes, I think I am going to like it. I haven't shot it yet, for I just picked it up Yesterday.

The only problem I had with the appearance was the finish on the extractor bar. It was very rough looking, but I solved that quickly last night by removing it and working it across 600 grit on a flat surface. It now matches the slide perfectly.

That's the sweetest looking SR9 I've ever seen. That's also the only compact I've seen. Looks like it would be a good fit for small to medium hands. Thanks for the picture.
