Howdy Folks,

The name's Randy.

I'm from near Knoxville.

Have a handful of guns and prefer tactical shooting to hunting or plinking.

Military style shoulder-arms and full size semi-auto pistols are preferred.

Have successfully completed a basic executive protection course and have been teaching combat marksmanship since I turned 21.

Certified as a gunsmith, but don't have my FFL yet.

Clean and inspect guns on the side, but only work on my own guns for legal reasons.

Do not usually have guns for sale, but am always in the market to purchase a random gun in need of repair.

Always interested in gleaning good advice from experienced people.

Thanks,

Randy

I am not a member of the Norris range. I'm not against the idea, but have a nice setup for shooting up to 100meters in my own backyard. Most of the knowledge came from being around guns all my life and always taking apart everything I could get my hands on. I messed up at times with other items, but I haven't goofed up on any guns yet. My certification is from Penn Foster. They are an online school and have one of the best programs available by correspondence. But, if you are all thumbs or have never worked on guns before you may want to learn from a gunsmith in addition to getting certified through this course.
