It wanted a little protein in its salad diet. Raspberry, grass, and finch salad, no croutons!

Good. Instead of having to drag them out of the woods, you just wait until they show up on the front porch.

I'll bet that got the attention of the other little birds that were pestering the deer.

I bet they were defending the bird from such a notoriously aggressive carnivorous animal! They knew what was about to happen.

Bring it!

holy freakin cow. Never in my life would i have believed it if i hadnt just watch the video. That is just strange to say the least.

I guess free protein is free protein. The buck is in velvet and he is craving proteind and calcium. I have seen squirrels eat baby birds and baby rabbits. I guess if it were easier all animals would be carnivorous.

Some of my favorite comments on the youtube page:

- "I, for one, welcome our new carnivorous deer overlords."

- "Even the deer didn't want to be a vegetarian!"

- "HE EIGHT A BURRD!"

My guns are LOADED when I see my best friend's raving vegan wife!

Side-note: She has a sign in her front flower garden saying to stop the cruelty to animals, go vegan. My question to you guys: what's in her cat and dog food? Is it not dead animals? Also, do they kill the animals for the sole purpose of creating petfood or do they use the scraps we don't eat?

A friend of mine that used to live in Northern Michigan said that whitetails have been known to come to the water edge up in the Great Lakes and feed on bait fish that get washed up to shore. Said they will often feed all day.

Kinda weird.
