Thanks for posting. That would be worth up in the thousands, but I have no idea how much it would go for. 20 guages seem to bring a premium over 12s and 16s. I sorry I can't be of more help, as I wouldn't know how to go about finding out why your friend's background check was denied.

Nancy; if you could get some pictures of the markings and stamps it would help .

If its a model 60 which was the standard model of this time frame...

For as new $1,100, and at 90% about $750 just depends on the condition...Pics are always a help. Best regards, Walt

Walt, Did you see the engraving on that shotgun? It isn't a basic shotgun. Big money is added as the guns become more embellished. A standard field gun might only bring $1100, but this one should be much more.
