If I were going to have that style of shovel, I'd go ahead and go to EBAY and get a REAL G.I. Issue E-Tool with a carrier. I think I'd also look hard at the CS Special Forces Shovel. I'd also rather have a machete and dump the saw and hatchet.

I've got one of the shovels. I wouldn't trust it for heavy duty work, but should be fine for light digging. Lightweight and compact is a plus, but you sacrifice durability I guess.
