Gerber Freeman Folder w/ Guthook

Opinions?

Looking for a sturdy knife with a solid lock-up that won't break the bank, especially if it is lost during the course of the hunting season. Handled this just a little while ago, and liked it pretty well, especially for under $40, but I thought I would ask for opinions from people who have used this knife.

Thanks in advance!

Can't attest for that model, but Gerber stuff in general seems to be quite good value.

I have Gerber Profiles, both fixed blade and folder, and they are fine...actually quite remarkable for $20 knives.

Thanks, OhShoot!

I have an old (14 yr old) Gerber Gator that I like, just haven't used much. I've been looking for a decent knife with a guthook, so I went ahead and bought the Freeman when I left the office this afternoon. I think it'll do just fine.
