Essential the same thing as the Walther P99 just not as refined. The trigger is also not as good as the Walther models and is probably the DAO (the worst of the options) or the standard AS variant. If you like the trigger it is a good deal. Mags are a bit pricey if you can find them.

If that price is for a new one I'd go for it. Used, well...depending on it's condition. I have a sw990L in .40 cal. and it's been a good pistol. No real problems and pretty accurate. I don't think you can go wrong for $275.00. If I found a 9mm for that price I'd jump on it.

I WOULD BUY IT...THAT REALLY ISN'T A BAD DEAL FOR A VERY UNDERRATED GUN. THEY ARE MUCH BETTER THAN PEOPLE GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR!

GO FOR IT!!!!

/Sorry - Couldn't resist

My dad had one of these in .40. Great gun and shoots very nice. The only reason he let his go was because he wanted something more concealable (for him) and went with a SA XD.40c.

I have one in 40 also. It has had about 600 rounds downrange and is a pleasure to shoot and very accurate. I had John Wall at Eastside Gun Shop do a little work on the trigger and it helped noticibly. The short tale is that for the money I have in it; it's a really dependable gun.
