Just goes to show the media's disdain for the American

public, the people who should not waste their time with

those products. I know I don't spend a dime on those

media outlets. And they are proving that all they are, is

a self-fulfilling prophesy. They are tanking because of

it and must be waiting for an Obama bailout.

Being overseas A LOT I was able to see how scrwed up the American media is. All the time I would see a story of importance about the US on a foriegn news networks but never see it mentioned on any US based media. I would call back to ask family and friends about what was being reported and was almost always greeted with the same thing "WTF are you talking about?". Even to this day I try to watch foreign based news because they seem like they are less driven by politics or a personal agenda.

I've noticed the foreign media being better at our news, also. Ours

have been propagandists far too long. Need flushing!

This is only confirmation of the crap we are being force fed. But I wouldn't exactly run and listen to the BBC either. Who in the Sam Hill CAN you listen to with out bias?

Most of the news casters like Mathews, (Carter speech writer) ,Stephonoppolus (Clinton press secretary) and others who are Dem political hacks spew the talking points that are fed to them. There is no suck thing as a free, independent press anymore.

Sad day in America.

I'd say no one. I'd argue that every place has bias. I'd also argue that you aren't being force fed. With the internet and cable tv you have a choice to pick your bias. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a choice for no bias but that is nothing new. If you spend a little time, and I'm talking ten minutes, looking at papers from the fifties you'll discover there was just as much if not more bias than than now.

This isn't a new thing. As much as some like to scream liberal media bias what they are really saying is the free market doesn't work.

This really comes as no surprise and only confirms what most of us already knew about the Media and their Lust for BO.

But I also agree that there is no ONE to trust. We must all surf through the sewers on both sides and take what we can from each and form our own opinions from it all.

Just look at the mess over the lady from GA. The NAACP was the first to call for her to be fired after hearing the very "clipped" clips from one of their own. And they were the ones in possession of the tape of the "whole story" the entire time. Now they and everyone else are jumping through their butts to apologize to the lady.

Who do I trust?......The collective opinions of this forum and those of the USCCA and that is about it.

And even from those sources I still have to take it all and form my own opinions. The folks who depend on one news? source (no matter which one it is) for all their info are the most uninformed of anyone these days.

And YEP it has been that way for a long while, it is just more profound in todays world of instant news instant everything, the more instant it gets the less reliable it gets.

News these days has gotten like the old saying about the wheather.....If you dont like what you hear, wait five minutes and it will change.

Todays Journolist story - there was a coordinated media campaign to discredit Palin within minutes of McCain announcing he'd picked her to run as his VP.

Not that this is news - anyone with three functioning brain cells figured it out in short order during the campaign - but those who so vehemently denied any such concerted attack should now go find a stool and an extension cord, and do the right thing.

Unfortunately for some, if it's in print,

it must be a fact.

And Walter Cronkite had us fooled for years. The bias is what started

the newspapers and never let up.
