I haven't heard any scientific evidence, much less seen a scientific report on the critter. Do any exist?

It's really easy to disbelieve stuff you find on the internet -- it's because 99% of it is BS.

As far as I know none exist saying that the critter is real, but some DO exist saying that what people think is the critter is really a dog........Yet as my comments point out people still believe that they're out there.

It's not that easy though, because you've still got people who will refuse to believe in the scientific evidence, and want to start speaking of cover-ups and government conspiracy. :D

It's a strange world we live in where a highly trained scientist can tell someone that an apple is an apple, yet that someone still thinks it's some new kind of fruit or the world's largest grape.

We need a scientific report.

I don't really know where you could get the exact report, but the DNA testing was done by Mike Forstner of Texas State University that shows the one tested was a canine-coyote hybrid. I would have to imagine all other DNA tests on suspected Chupacabras have come up with the same results as well, but I'm not sure where you could go to get that information.

My basic point is that the tests have been done, and I haven't heard of any at all that came up with these being a new species. Again I'm still saying I do believe in the possibility of other things, possibly even Chupacabras out there. However, I don't know of any hard evidence that would prove their existance, and any sign of evidence turns out to be a dog or something similar with mange.

Well, even if they DID find a new/old species, I find it rather doubtful that any of these have "fangs" or could drain all the blood from a cow, as the lore maintains.

Which would make such a discovery sort of meh.

Very true, but I would much rather see people suspecting a newly found species of being a Chupacabra, rather than to see people saying that a dog is one.

I'm not convinced...

You can't prove that it doesn't exist, only that it does exist.

If you find one, it exists. If you don't find one, either it doesn't exist or you haven't looked long enough/in the right place.
