My name is Brad. I am a new gun owner and permit carrier. I was referred to this site by a friend of mine from Seymour. I talked with him and others at length about the varying information I have been given in HCP class as well as talking with other permit carriers. It is amazing to me how much differing information a person can receive often leading to confusion. I purchased a Ruger P95 (new) at a local gun shop and range. My primary reason was for added protection responding to rental cabin house alarms as well as the aspect of protecting myself and my family. At this point, I wish I had purchased something a little larger in caliber but a little smaller in size. The product selections for south-paws isn't as great as right handers but since I'm nearly ambidextrous, I think it will work best to convert my handing and sighting. And that in a nutshell is the start of my story ...

Welcome, Brad. I'm left handed, too. My brother has a rental cabin

in Wears Valley. Do those alarms go off often? That would drive me nuts.
