Anybody know anything about IO Ak47c?

I am looking to be purchasing a IO Ak47c today and was wondering if anybody here had any actual experience with them. I have done a bit of research and found that some of their earlier rifles were not so hot, but this newer model seems to be of better quality. If I do buy this AK i will post back later with pics and impressions

I prefer Saiga or Arsenal over IO. I have owned both and the build quality is MUCH better on the Saiga/Arsenal.

I've not shot one, but of the many I've handled the quality was on the lower end. Similar to a Wasr (which in essence it is) with some really cheap furniture. Of course all that is cosmetic on an AK and doesn't affect any thing other than pride.

Made in NC of all American parts. It's the first of many companies who will eventually do this when foreign parts become unavailable. Read this article from the IO website...

I read up on them when they first came out and thought I remember seeing that the barrels were not chrome lined, besides that they seemed like you were getting what you paid for.

I like the whole made in America part imho arsenals are way overpriced since they are basically a converted saiga...however if you have the confidence to convert a saiga they are still the best bang for the buck

My buddy picked up an IO a few months back. Dang thing is a tack driver actually. Hasn't ever malfunctioned on him, and when we sighted it in, I was putting the rounds through the same hole.
