Can anyone offer a recommendation for a HCP class in Chattanooga or around? My sister lives down there and is interested in getting her carry permit.

Fugates Firearms in Calhoun, .5 hour drive from Chattanooga, has monthly classes at $50/head. Good people, you need not even own a handgun, they will rent you one of their used firearms for the class.

Check out Carter Shooting Supply on HWY 58, the instructor is female.

Please check with the folks at Guns & Stuff. They are located near Whitwell, TN approximately 30 minutes drive from Chattanooga. The atmosphere is very friendly and one of the instructors is a female. Many ladies take the class there. They also have loaner handguns for those who need one. Their telephone number is 423-942-3844.
