Cant buy a crossbreed mag. holder....so I made myself one...or two!

It matches my supertuck holster perfectly..I also made a two mag version (it's not finished)and it is tuckable as well

That looks like some really nice work. How do you shape the Kydex - heat it in the oven? Do you heat it with the mags, etc. in or do you heat it then insert the mags and mold to fit them? Is it difficult to mold? Also, did you order the belt clips seperately or did they come on a holster you had ordered?

I have yet to find a way to carry IWB that works for me. I have been wanting to experiment with making a hybrid holster to see if it will work better.

I bought the leather scraps from a saddle shop. then just used a hair dryer to heat the kydex up and shape it with the mags in place(I used dummy rounds in the mag.). It's pretty easy to mold you just take your time with it.

I ordered the clips extra. they were $7.50- kydex was $5 for a 2'x1' sheet the leather was $5 and I got enought to do 3 of them so counting the clips I have about $10 in it + plus my labor.

This IWB works great! I wore it all day today no problems and its really comfortable plus I can tuck my shirt in a cover it if needed.

as a bonus it evens out my profile with my holster so it doesn't look like a bulge on just one side.

Great work indeed. I second the vote for a flashlight/mag combo. I find the less crap I cram into my pockets the longer my pants last.
