On the Youtube page, copy the topmost address bar. Got to the "Quick Reply" window. Look for the icon that looks like a film strip. Tap it. Paste the address into it. Hit "OK" and tap "Post Quick Reply" and you're done.

Is this really an issue, or something that needs legislation?

I assumed that ships were unarmed by choice.

Is there some kind of law that keeps ships from having an armory with rifles stored in it?

Yes, it's illegal to pull into most ports with any weapons on board, including many if not most US ports.

Really? I was on a cruise ship where you could rent shotguns and shoot off the ship.

So if a ship sailing under a foreign flag wants to have rifles on-board locked in an armory; our government doesn’t allow that? There are no maritime safe passage laws or anything?

This is really bad news for me because I was thinking about retiring and becoming a shooter for a cruise ship. :)

I have a solution to the Pirate Problem.

if I was a shipping company or a ship Capitan with the power and budget to protect my crew and cargo.

I would Hire about 10 Ex-Marines and or mix or other Ex US Service Man/Women for my ship. I would prefect a mix of services for the nature of the job.

I would have a rank system like the military.

I would have 1 of them reporting directly to me.

I would have have a basic schedule for them.

They would be required to stay in good physical shape to keep their job, stay trained and work together as a team.

Other then the time the lead officer of the team determines they need to keep fit, stay trained, keep they gear in order, etc they could have basic time to themselves at sea.

Keep at least 2 of them on guard at all hours, and all of them on call 24/7 in case of Pirates.

This being international waters for the Most part, I believe they could carry military grade weapons.

However the only catch to my plan would be when they travel into some ports. I haven't figured this part of the plan out.

Maybe the shipping companies could get together and put a ship outside the ports, barely in internation waters to temp store weapons just before they go in to port. In short, they disarm while still in international waters, go to port, then arm up as they leave.

Image the pirate surprise to come up against some well trained/ well armed Cargo ship.

I want to start a cruise line to travel the Somali Coast, and I'm looking for financial backers.

This will be a 5 star cruise for the weapons enthusiast. This will be an all inclusive trip with all of the ammo, and RPG's you can stand. We will have an active radar going, and we will announce over ships intercom when the pirates are coming. Once they are within 100yrds, the command to fire will take place and won't stop till all boats are under water. I believe we might even be able to lease the ship from "Whale Wars", as our ship. Ears and teeth will be collected for souvenirs, and we will have an on board shark tank for betting on the fights between the surviving pirates vs the sharks.

I believe this is a turn-key opportunity please sign up today.
