Good to hear you've got a solution in the works - and that it's not going to be expensive. Have a good trip.

Come to find out, thanks to Terry, again, I was LOW on freon.. My A/C unit has a leak, but the good news is.. It is still under Warranty through Mitsubishi and I can have it fixed. So, whenever I get back from my weekend trip.. I'm heading to the dealer with it.

Get one of the freon hose with the guage that talks about outside ambient temp. Pretty simple directions included to use, hook up to low side, make pressure read where chart says for temp. All of them I've seen show the temp range like this - 65 Deg F = 30 psi, 75 Deg F = 40 psi, 85+ deg F = 50 psi with the max pressure on the low side being 55 psi. I've used that now for a few years with good results. That'll get you through the weekend (and longer depending on leak size) until you can get it in for leak repair under warranty.

I have one of those... I bought one and that is what I filled it up with the first time... But I'm calling the dealer and making a Service Appointment for when I get back and preferably, immediately. If it's under warranty, they can fix it.
