Aguila Match Rifle 22lr ammo thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts about the Match Rifle ammo? I went shooting last night and was very impressed! The ammo grouped as good as any I shot. I have shot everything from crap all the way up to Wolf Match Extra of which the Aguila matched or beat out.

I did notice the smell of the powder was different and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how dirty it may be........have not cleaned my gun yet........I know its a sin. I also wondered about lead fouling since they are not coated bullets as well?

Looks like this may be one of the best values out there.......just a little more than bulk ammo.......$31 a brick and less than half of Wolf prices.

it is top shelf ammo a little dirty but do like i do run a few wildcats through it to clean it out

i haven't tried the aguila match but i did a little informal 22lr ammo testing the other day.

Aguila High velocity 40gr did the best. If it's any indication of their match stuff...

Average-ish groups of 5 were under an inch at 50 yards off a bubba-ed 10/22 with just the fore-end resting on an ammo can.

The other end were the Federal bulk packs at 2-3 inches.

You should try some vujade. I was shooting it out of a 10/22 T and my buddy was using a MKII......we both had good results......now to confuse things......the pistol match may have even edged the rifle match???? Go figure that....I can't explain it.....

I was shooting it the other day with my Kimber 82g and was inpressed enought to buy 4 bricks.

That has been my observations as well. If and when I buy Aguila I always buy the pistol match.

I am going to be off for 2 weeks at Christmas. My long rifle will get a good workout with the Aguila....best bang for the buck!
