Excellent billboard!!

So they took it down . . . . I wonder what happened with freedom of the press? I guess it got thrown out when the current Administration moved into the White House.

Just my two cents. While Obama is certainly a socialist p.o.s. hell bent on drastically changing our society (for the worse), I do not think he is in the same league as Hitler and Lenin. I think whoever put up the billboard was wrong in the way they are trying to convey the danger present within socialism, and the people who took it down are wrong as well. They are stifling free speech. I guess I'm just getting tired of all the Hitler comparisons. Back when Bush was in office, all you heard from all the crackpot leftists was "Bush is Hitler. Bush is Hitler."

You're absolutely right.

He'll need just about 6 more years to qualify for that elite group.

Obama is proving it, while leftists just said it about Bush.

The Tea Party group had it taken down.

From what I read in the article, the Tea party put up the sign and later decided to take it down. They felt the imagery overshadowed their message. This is not censorship just having second thoughts about their message. Actually, I agree with their decision to take it down. It polarizes the issue too much. I agree with the message on the billboard but I also agree that it only serves to preach to the choir and strengthen the resolve of the opposition (however misguided they are).

A local group put it up, and other Tea Party groups in the state complained.

I really wish it had remained up, although I understand

their not wanting to enflame others. Sometimes the truth

needs to be exposed and graphically for others to open

their eyes and at least seek the truth for themselves.

The laws enacted so far, during his term, bear this

billboard out, historically, and are crushing our country.

A lot of people are still in denial about this president

and need to look for the truth, and, maybe even read

a bit of history. They will eventually agree with the

billboard.

The Tea Party's biggest challenge is to battle an extremist image. They already have you and Sarah Palin ;). They're gonna need more than that to win any general elections.

They were smart to pull it down. Stick to the issues, and leave the fear mongering to the talk show hosts.

For as short time of a political movement as the Tea Party has had, so far,

I'd say it's doing quite well. Start counting, Mike. That list of wins will grow:D

Sarah is going to continue making fools out of the opposition, in and out of

the right side of the battle. Her message already towers above the liberal

speak.

I think the Tea Party will do fine. They got rid of another idiot this weekend. Sarah's message doesn't tower over anything. She has a very loyal following with the far right, but that's as far as it goes. Real poor polling with independents, and it won't change.

I really don't think that Obama can be compared to Hitler.

I see him more as a Lenin.

I can't compare him to either Lenin or Hitler, but politically he is more similar to Hitler(Socialist). The thing that really separates him from both Hitler and Lenin is that they both sought to make their countries forces in the world, to make their countries better than the rest. Obama seeks to take what is already exceptional and make it ordinary. That is the key difference I see at this point.

I really like Palin's message and think she is definitely what this country needs in many ways. But you are right, she will never win over the majority of voters. The liberal media was very successful with their intense smear campaign in 2008. I think Michelle Bachmann needs to take the reigns. She is philosophically basically the same as Palin, but has avoided the wrath of the liberal media thus far. Most of the people will believe what they're told by the media, which is why Palin has relatively low approval. See our current president for proof of the power of politically run media persuasion.

The presidential election cycle hasn't really begun. Palin is building a strong

base of support. Remember when no one had heard of Obama? He was a

nobody three years ago.

Michelle Bachmann is forming a Tea Party congressional caucus. She is definitely

one to watch, also. Both of them are taking on the media, quite well, and have

been making some of the media look like the idiots they are.

Those two women, and people like Jim Demint and Dick Armey are rebuilding

or replacing the republican party. Wait and see.
