You Could Win $100,000 in Prizes !!!

If you are skilled with a pistol, rifle or any other firearm, you could win $100,000 in prizes on History Channel’s hit marksmanship competition show, TOP SHOT. Producers are looking for anyone with mind-blowing shooting skills and a big personality to take on exciting physical challenges with multiple guns and mystery projectile weapons.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a professionally trained shooter or a self-taught average Joe (or Jane!). As long as you’re in good physical shape, have mastered a firearm and can adapt to new weapons and demanding physical situations, you could be America’s next “Top Shot.â€

They probably wouldn't take a washed up competitive archer...then again I probably couldn't take off enough time from work even if they would.

Given what I've seen out'a them so far, I don't see what "good physical shape" has to do with anything...

If it weren't for that though, I'd be tempted to apply. 'Cause I bet I can use a few weapons they haven't thought of yet. :D

I'm kind of surprised how poorly some of these guys are doing (this season). Saw one guy almost miss the "vote off target" one week. Nerves on camera?

Time for some Class 3 competition. Some of these shows were a bit boring.

All they can do is say no... It's the few they say "Yes" to is what will be special... You should try.

Do it! Plus let's be honest, the fact that you are an attractive female will be a a big help in terms of casting. Reality/competition shows tend to have casts that get better looking as the seasons progress. Simply stated, pretty people = higher ratings.

That's why it asked for Big Personalities... Pretty People who don't let along with other Pretty People = HUGE RATINGS... Just think of Real World.

You're exceedingly better looking than the blonde on the show. She's got some scary eyes. How's your various weapons skills? The show's producers as well as the public's will be greatly interested in your interests outside of shooting, as well.

After watching the last episode, I've come to the conclusion that I no longer have the required patients to live in that house for the required amount of time with people like Adam...

There'd end being an "accident", I'm afraid... ;)

He'd probably end up falling down the stairs... as many times as I could drag him back to the top.

Yeah, she really needs to lose the Vulcan eyebrows...

Nah. It wouldn't help. She is just ugly. There are some things that you just can't fix. Her face is one of them.

So you're saying that instead of Top Shot, she should'a been on something titled Extreme Makeover - The Critical Care Edition? ;)

My weakest is handgun. I shot a 99 on the HCP qual(the extent of my scored handgun experience) but I consider it a tool moreso than something i want to take to the same extent as archery. I'm not looking to shoot it competitively though for the show I'd probably practice a lot more, lol.

With a bow, I can't shoot the same target twice at 20 yards without costing myself a good bit of money in arrows. I used to pretty much destroy a set of 5 sighting in and didn't consider my sights set until I could wrap my thumb and first finger around a group of 5(or less for the indoor set) and have my fingertips touch. 35 about 60 yards I try to keep a group on 1 to 3 inches respectively. 60 to 80 yards it spreads a bit more due to my low draw weight and ultralight arrows but I'll note my elevation as long as I keep a group of 5-7 arrows inside 4-5 inches(i.e. the center ring) which is really all that counts to me at that distance. Wind and rain will also cause the group to spread, hence my range of group size that I'll let myself consider "set."

I picked up rifles after shooting the bow for several years. Mechanics all apply, just in a different position and you can't bend your barrel, lol. I'll need some glasses for ironsights as I cannot see the target well enough for my liking beyond about 100 yards. I'm a little picky about that sort of thing. Throw a scope on it and I'm fine. its been a while since I've shot though so I don't know how rusty I'd be. I'd like 1/2-3/4 groups at 100 yards minimum with a scope. I've had two arrows occupy the same space in a paper target, I'd expect no less of myself than to be able to do that with bullets.

Haha, yeah, there's that. I have a very low tolerance for stupidity, drama and arrogant toolbags.

Oh, you can... you'll just have a helluva time hitting anything with it after you do. :stick:

The guy I'm talking about is an Architectural Engineer... That pretty much makes him one of the most arrogant, pretentious pricks on the planet, based on my personal experience with 'em.

So far, he's the only one on the show I think I'd have a problem with. Even the complainer... what's his name? Brad? isn't that bad. He just whines too much about the equipment.

I mean, seriously, how can you call someone out about being a "rat fink" when you are the original conspirator who was trying to go behind backs and eliminate the best shooters there.

Plus!!!!! You lied about it when you said it was "one of 8" and "one of 10" different plans that they discussed.
