Need an automotive A/C mechanic in Memphis

I'm in need of someone that can work on the AC system in my van in the Memphis area. I've taken it to one place and got a quote of $1k plus (on a van that is worth maybe $4k).

I do know the compressor is shot and the cooling fan that is supposed to kick in when the AC is on is also out.

If somebody knows how to do this and has the right equipment and can tell me what parts I'll need I can get the parts if you can help me install.

The van is driven by the wife, she's not happy that there is no AC in her vehicle. If the wifes not happy, I'm not happy.

Whitworth in Cordova is another Christian company, that does it right. On many occasions they've not even charged us for stuff. But you're still looking at 1K if you don't find a buddy here.
