My four year old son and I just had a 15 minute discussion on the best way to defeat a zombie invasion. I've never been more proud. If only I could get my wife on board now...

Maybe they'll adapt that for the sequel.

Didn't notice, since I was still looking deep into my big box of Junior Mints.

Alright, now I've got to watch it again. The wife's working late anyway. So won't have to listen to her ask why I watch things like that. A good woman, she just doesn't appreciate good sifi or sarcastic humor, Especially in zombie movies.

My wife doesn't typically care for zombie movies. I talked her into going to see than one and she likes that movie as much as I do. In fact, we ended up seeing it three times in the theater and now own it on DVD.

I also noticed that the pump shotgun seemed to have the 'unlimited capacity' mod until just the very moment that running out of ammo was convenient to add drama. That didn't make me go, "Hmmm" nearly as much as a petite woman firing a pistol grip 12 gauge with pretty quick shot recovery and showing no signs of being effected by recoil, however. Guess it was adrenaline. Still, it wasn't meant to be a documentary.

I had to be my wife to watch Sean of the Dead and she finally caved in. She even bought it on DVD. That made it easier to get her to try Zombieland, which she will undoubtedly buy now!

She still won't "talk zombie survival tactics" with us, but it's a start. I told her, when they invade...we'll see who's the idiot and who's just being prepared.
