I dunno, he got around pretty fast in his wheelchair, from what I remember. :taunt::taunt:

Still no reason to be such a wussy about snakes....how do you handle bugs and spiders...Terrified of them too, I suspect...:D

Crazy how y'all forget. In the end, LT DAN WALKED!!! There's hope for all! Won't even begin with the religious ideas on the "Walk, in the kingdom of Heaven." There's been enough religious debate lately, right?

glad that it got released alive and unharmed. I'm all for killing stuff if you're gonna eat it (exceptions: invasive species) but just killing something because it creeps you out? Not good.

Plus, that crap doesn't always work out. I worked with a guy who decided to shoot a skunk living under his house. He chose a 12 gauge shotgun for this task. He waits, skunk comes out. Skunk gets blasted. He gets hit with the stink. At least that is the way he told it.

Not sure how accurate the story is but I am sure that guy smelled for a week or so.

Here's somethin' else to think about and some of them will do it around here. Killing ANYTHING that isn't listed with the Game and Fish Commission as a hunt-able species is against the law and you can be arrested for it. Don't let the local Game Wardens around here (W.TN) see you killing snakes. I've even had State Troopers threaten to arrest me over it.

Personally I have to agree with this law, because everything has it's purpose. I've never really understood why anyone would be afraid of snakes, because for the most part if you watch where you're walking you will see them with plenty of time to stop, and let them get away before you get too close. Everything has a reason for being here, and it's what keeps things in the proper balance in nature, so they should all be left alive unless it's impossible to do so.....

Except for wasps.........They are the devil and should go back to hell where they came from.

Wasps are mean, especially the red ones, had one sting me, while I was videoing my daughters soccer game, didn't swat at it run from it, brush it off, nothing, just ignored it like you are suppose to, that thing came up and stung me on the back of the head. Hurt like hell. And mosquito's they can ride along with the wasps, besides, there are plenty other insects, other animals can eat. Brown Recluse spiders are in the same group. They will die, I will stomp them until I deem them dead, which might be until there is nothing identifiable.

My wife hates snakes, so far as she won't even watch them on TV. I will relocated a non venomous one. If venomous, and I were to find it in my yard in my neighborhood, I would have to kill it. Too many kids. If we are out in the woods, the lake etc, and find one, we will leave it alone and not bother it.
