Taurus PT25 Magazine Reassembly

I decided to take apart my PT25 magazine for cleaning tonight and figured it would be no more difficult than my other autos. Well, it exploded into about 5 pieces accross my table and after 2 hours of trying to put it back together I gave up for today. I think I'll have to buy another one. Anybody out there have any experience with these mags that could offer any advice?

Care to post a pic of the pieces? Maybe I could tell from that. How hard can it be? (famous last words, I know).

Whew, I'm groggy. I can't figure out what his 5th piece might be.

Usually its a thumb killer. What I do is, hold the mag upside down in a vice and drop the guide into place. Then i put the spring in and hold it compressed with a small screwdriver. Holding that, i start the floorplate. Once its started, I tap it into place with a 1 pound hammer.

The fifth piece may be a small tab that goes between the spring and floorplate.

In the link to the owners manual on page 18 is the parts diagram. The parts in my mag were #s 30, 38, 42, 43, and 45. 43 is the tab between the floorplate and spring westwindmike is refering to I think. I'll try putting it in a vise like "groggy" mugster mentioned but I don't think I'll be able to get it back together. Seems like too many things to do at the same time for an incompetent like me.
