Tactical carry bag

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a bag to carry to and from work. I need to carry a laptop/iPad,GPS, Phone chargers, and also a handgun and maybe some other miscellaneous items. I looked at the black hawk tactical briefcase. I like it but I would like to find something a little cheaper than $150ish. Something around $50-75 would be ideal. What is out there that I have overlooked?

I got a BattleLab Escape & Evasion Bag as a tactical diaper bag when my first born came along. It's an excellent bag and would hold everything you mentioned (depending on the size of your laptop, it would definitely work with an ipad though). The inside has three divided compartments, and there's even a removable holster that goes in it. Mine has a MOLLE front for attaching other pouches, but the standard version has three M4 mag pouches that you can stuff other things in.

Any of the typical "student" type backpacks have laptop sleeves and plenty of pockets for all your other stuff. Quad Pack: School Backpacks at L.L.Bean

I think you'll have a hard time finding anything with the word "tactical" in the description for under $100. Maxpedition stuff seems to be popular (I don't have one) .... Check out County Comm (countycomm.com). Several of their bags fit the bill and come in at less than $100. Be prepared to still spend that money on something else if you go to the site. I don't think I've been to that site yet where it hasn't cost me $50.
