What is this gun?

I can across this old gun and have no idea what model it is. The barrel says that it is a J. Stevens Something, MASS Patent 1884 (I think that's the date). Here are some pictures of it...it appears it's a break, single shot .22. Any information would be greatly appreciated. As you can see in the picture, there is a pop up sight in the back and a small pop up sight in the front. Has a fish tail stock. If you have any questions or want to see more pictures, let me know!!!! Thanks so much.

Search for "Stevens Tip Up Rifle" on google and click the "images" button in the upper left. You'll see all kinds of them. Its the same rifle as the one pictured on the previous link, either a different year or trim level.

Also, I think yours is a later version than Annie used......I think hers was an 1897

I've seen prices between $250 all the way to $4000. I guess it depends on the caliber, year, and original condition. Just from the pictures, yours appears to have been re-blued? Got some micrometers? You may be able to measure the chamber dimensions and bore to determine the caliber.
