Does anyone know of any hicap magazines made for any of the common .22LR pistols. Seems like all I see are 10 round max. I have several, and all have a 10 round magazine.

I'd say 10 is about all you can get in a straight magazine that would fit in the handle of a semi-auto. Due the the rim of the cartridge, any mag is going to need to start curving, bananna-style.

Maybe a double-stack .22 LR pistol could be made, dunno. The KelTec PMR-30 gets 30 .22 mag rounds inside the grip--

Maybe the extra length of the .22 mag round offsets the effect of the cartridge rim somewhat, avoiding the necessity of a curved mag shape? Or maybe the KelTec mag manages to 'interleave' the rounds somehow, so that the cart rims are offset from each other rather than rim-to-rim?

It would be kewl to have the equivalent of a Ruger Mark II except with a 30 round double stack mag.

edit: With .22, maybe even a triple stack mag could work and fit in a reasonable-width grip?

I recently was wondering the same thing, after looking for a little .22 plinker, and only seeing 10rd mags
