Next Mempis meet?

Lets get another meet together. The last one was fun and meeting new people, conversing and shooting together is more fun than going to the range alone, even if only a few show up.

What say you?

The meets are generally the third weekend of every month. Would you like it at RUSA or do you have any outdoorsy places in mind? Most of us are dying to get out.

Ill try to make the next one. This is a busy month for me with family coming in and out of town from all over the country for my family reunion.

Got some better/cooler/breezier place in mind? It was hotter last time than in May.

RUSA would be fine. Too hot to be outdoors. Besides that I don't know of any outdoor ranges since they closed the one at Shelby Farms.

Anyone tried the TWRA range in Bartlett? Top Brass here in Millington has no air at all. I went there last weekend and had to step out into the showroom after every few mags to cool off.

eap, I bought something else. A Springfield XD.

I am game. What day are we thinking about?

Unless we can find some private property, i can't think of anywhere to shoot outdoors.

If we had a smaller group, we could do an MSSA shoot at some point. But! Its too dang gummed hot to even think about being out there right now. I haven't been in almost a month.

Sat. 24th in the afternoon. Y'all tell me which part of the afternoon is best. I usually say 1 or 2 by default, but saying 4 or 5 may work for most people.

When it cools off some, I have heard great things about this place.

4-5 works for me.

4 or 5 on 7/24 sounds good at the moment. Kind of gives me more of the day to get something done. RUSA ok by me.

94 - You did good on the XD. When it comes to strikers I usually recommend Glock, S&W (M&P), or XD. Don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

You should shoot my Walther PPS 9mm. 1500 rounds no failures (knocking on wood), accurate, etc.

4-5pm, 7/24, RUSA is good for me as well. I will have family in town, but i should be able to work around the meet.

As long as I'm not working a gun show or get called in for a random reason for drill, I think me and KimberChick can make it on the 24th. Thinking I'll bring out an old .22 single-shot I forgot about, maybe another toy if it's done. . . (Yes, Byrd, the AR.)
