New to the Paris Landing area looking to hunt

Hello all,

I'm looking to hunt/trap in the Paris Landing area and looking for a little help. I hunt everything, with ducks, deer, rabbits and squirrels being my favorites. I'm looking to meet some new hunters and hunt some new places this fall. If your interested in having a cup of coffee and BSing about guns and hunting please pm me.

There are good opportunities in your area. One of the best is the LBL area. Another good one is the Big Sandy area near Paris. We hunt LBL with bow for deer, and we rabbit and squirrel hunt there also.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on talking with the rangers this week. I already bought the super duper hunting license(plus the LBL camp option) so i'm one step closer. How about deer and small game hunting the federal refuge? I spoke with a ranger and it sounded like there are quite a few opportunities before the lands are closed for the ducks.

If you are refering to Cross Creeks, bow only for deer unless you are drawn for a quota hunt. Fort Campbell also has great hunting for deer and turkey. I'll shoot you a PM in the morning.
