From where I sit on my couch I can see my Eiffel Tower "bobblehead" with a red cowboy hat "head" from a race I participated in in Paris, TX.(get it...got it...good) To the right of that is a resin Jackalope and to the left of it is a small, plastic box full of ash from Mt. St. Helens. That's just one small shelf in the living room folks.

I just don't know where to start...

Oh you are NOT gonna get away with that!

Start at the beginning and make us a list. It don't even have to be in any particular order. ;)

I have locks of hair from loved ones.

Each lock is stuck in a resin bead and secured with candle wax.

One each from me,my husband, my daughter, my grandmother and my dad.

Each bead is different color and shape from the others.

I also have a letter to my great-grandparents from President Kennedy signed just a few weeks before his death.

(It is condolences for my great uncles death. He was a civilian truck driver for the military and died in an accident)

I also have a titanium "plate" that was surgical hardware. I made them give it to me when it was removed "because I paid for it!!"

Lastly, I have a scar under my left eye from a shell casing that fell behind my safety glasses during my HCP class. I think it is pretty odd considering the circumstances!

I am picking this as this as the oddest so far.

Prizes will be offered from Jamie when this thread is done.

I have a 40 pound mortar round solid shot and two 6 pounder solid shot from the war of northern aggression. Also have a musician's saber with the original sheath dated 1863 and a couple of minie balls in .58 caliber and a grape shot that I found, all from the Nashville area.

Oh yea......and a whole passel of arrowheads, from around middle Tennessee.

Nah... it'd be the oddest if it were signed a couple of weeks after his death.

Prizes will be offered from Jamie when this thread is done.

I don't know when I volunteered for this, but okay, fine.

Here's your prize:

Guess I don't have anything too odd. Really liked fivestring's things among the others.

Have an assortment of old slide rules. One of these days gonna put em in a wall case with a hammer and chain, with a sign "In case of computer failure, break glass."

Have a working Sony PCM converter and two working Beta decks, one of the first digital audio recording systems. Probably not many of them around anymore. Thats not a kewl as fivestring's wire recorder though.

Have an ancient 500 watt ferro-resonant voltage regulator that still works, in a huge rack mount, very heavy for 500 watts.

I have a coin good for "one free ride" at the Ace of Spades Cathouse Nashville, TN. On the back side it says "Blacks Only". It is from about 1880 and I think it's one of the coolest things ever. Thought about donating it to a history museum.
