Yeah, I seen a nice one cross the road in front of me a couple weekends ago. It was about a half a mile from the house, everything else I've seen has been slick headed.

We've seen this little buck a few times in the area. He got captured here on trailcam near my son's stand. He's only 4 point!robcam2-1.jpg

Yes he is. Game Warden seems to think he needs culled. Kewl with me! I hope one of the grandkids get him during the youth hunt! I'll pass on him until they do. Now the other one? NO PROMISES!

He might need to be culled. If he's mature his genetics may not be good. But he looks like he might not be mature. Its your choice.

Saw a big 8 and a big 10 yesterday in between Harding Pike and Richland Creek in Belle Meade. Those deer love the eating the flowers, plants and shrubs at those million dollar houses.

So this buck (8 pt) decides to slap me in my face by walking up to my trail cam and sticking his slimy nose to it! LOL

I've got several bucks with antlers in my back yard. One's a ten pointer, he was just a button buck when we moved in 6 years ago. They have no fear in a residential neighborhood!!!

This is a young buck I got plenty of pictures of, I think it's one of the ones I let walk last year.

That deer to his left and behind him is another nice buck.

Those are nice!!

How much land do you have to hunt on?

I got ahold of 187 acres last year. The land hasn't been hunted since 1997. The previous hunters did the landowner wrong and lied to him on some things and he kicked them off. He was left with a "bad taste" in his mouth about allowing people to hunt. Me and my son is the first he has allowed. It all works out good though....my son and myself help him work his farm, he taught us to run the tractor, balers and what have you. We help him out alot and he pretty much lets us do what we want. Private property is really hard to get...so you got to bust you hiny to keep what you got!

Here is the buck that was with him. The one that stuck his nose to the camera just turned away when the other walked into the picture. I hope ya'll are enjoying theses pictures!

WD40, you got some good bucks. Looks like maybe 3-3 1\2 yr olds. Most bucks start to look good at that age. I let a buck about that age walk last year. 8 point with about 16" spread. He had good mass and some long tines. Maybe this year he'll be nice.
