I have been drinking the mess out of it this week while at work. Love me some of that mtn dew throwback. I also recently saw Heritage Dr. Pepper, same as the throwback. Made with real sugar.

Whoo hoo! I found Mountain Dew Throwback at my local grocery store today!

Suddenly, I'm a child again, frolicking through the house, bouncing off the walls, doing bellyflops off my sister's bunkbeds...as my mom makes me an appointment with the pediatrician that deals with 'special needs' children like me!

I was Ritalin, even before Ritalin was cool!

I found Pepsi throwback (which, I think, tases nothing like HFCS Pepsi) and Mt. Dew. I've only heard of this mythical Dr. Pepper. Apparently it's available in 12-pk. at the Kroger on Sanderlin.

Kroger at Trinity started carrying Pepsi Throwback a few weeks ago and I bought two 12 packs. I love the stuff. So much better in my opinion. It really is a completely different taste.

You'd think that since the "throwback" drinks are so popular, they'd bring 'em back for good. You know what they say about common sense... :-\

See McRib. If you make people think its not coming back, they will buy more than necessary. You can make 6 months worth of profit in 6 weeks and then do the same thing again in 6 months.

"Sell 'em what they want. For a limited time only."

And the current version of the McRib tastes nothing like the originals! I still eat at least one when they come 'round though...

FYI for the Memphis area folk, if you go to the Kroger on Sanderlin near Mendenhall around Passover time, you can find Coca-Cola with cane sugar in the Kosher Grocery section. It's divine and in two liter bottles.
