Norris range directions

I am thinking about trying to get out to Norris this weekend to try out my Mosin. I know you go to the Norris police dept, but which one? Google lists 2. one is Norris Police dept, 9 East Norris rd. The other is the City of Norris Police Dept, 9 West Circle Rd.

My other question, will it be so busy I can't get in this weekend?

Glenn it might be difficult this weekend to get to the Norris PD. Several of us went yesterday and got annual passes. But if you can get to it they will sell a pass to you.

At any rate the office you are looking for is in Norris right where the festival takes place.

Sorry I do not know the names of the streets.

I doubt the range will be so busy as to not get in and shoot.

Don't quote me exactly, but there's something about kids under 17 or 18 or something are covered, but each adult has to have pass AFAIK.

Glen if you see this, google the Elementary school and go to the fire hall. It's all in the Square. Police Department is on the left side of the building. Got my pass today and went to the range about 8:30 this morning, had it all to myself till about 10:00. HTH>

Hey; picked my annual up this week. They have a deal that if you buy a annual pass your spouse or minor child can buy one at half price. EVERY ONE needs to have a pass. The fine is $185 if cought up there without one, that goes for the person that let them in also. Plus you loose you rights to shoot there for a year. Hope this helps. bjb

When I bought mine last year, they allowed me to put my girlfriends son name under my pass and key for no extra charge, but said if she came with us, she would have to have another pass. I think a lot of it is the mood of the officer, how busy he is, and how polite you are when you request a pass.
