I wish some of our elected officials in Tennessee had the stones to make a similar statement! :lol:

That's a pretty amazing statement from any DA in a state that doesn't even allow concealed carry, and open carry seems iffy by location.

However, I'd take it with a grain of salt. This is just one very local DA - Jackson County is rural, less than 20K folks in whole county.

If Milwaukee or state DA stated that, it might really go somewhere.

OS -- I certainly understand the context, and realize that in the grand scheme of things this guy is a very minor player. I posted it because I was encouraged by the sentiments he expressed and because it gave me a (wishful) hope that we might some day see similar positions taken elsewhere.
