Had an offer to trade

I had an offer to trade my XD-M for a Kel-Tec P-11 and $150. I've been wanting a smaller gun for ease of concealment. The XD is an awesome gun, it's just too big to conceal easily.

My questions are:

1. Is this a good deal? I went to a couple shops and looked online, and the P-11 goes for $250-$300, typically. My gun does have some finish rubbed off from where I used a Kydex Holster for a while, so it's not the prettiest thing.

2. Is the P-11 reliable and accurate?

3. Would you consider it, given the information above?

I used to have a P11 and I liked it, but that doesn't sound like a particularly good deal. I think I'd skip it too.

I fired a few thousand rounds through my P11 and never had any trouble with it. I never fired it beyond 10 or 12 yards, but it was fine for those distances. Not a tack driver, but suffienciently accurate for self defense.

Personally I'd pass on it. With that kinda deal you would be getting bottom dollar for your XD-M, and no more than the smaller handguns cost I would save up for a P-11 or similar as a BUG. Once you get one you can then have the XD-M as a house gun, or carry both when you feel the need.

That's just me though. It's a very rare occasion that I would get rid of any firearm once I own it.

Kel Tech's ain't pricey. I'd save and buy one outright; that way you won't have to buy a replacement XD or Glock or something down the road, which is pretty likely I'd say.

This.

the Kt is about 329 to 379 depending on where you go. the Xd is closer to 5 bills. I don't care how many round through the XD, not worth the trade unless he want to up the money to about 275.00 Butthat's just my humble opinon.

I started with a p-11, sold that for a pf-9. Traded that for an xd. Lost money every time but it's not about the money. It's about a defensive gun that's safe to carry ,meets my needs and I can shoot well.

What cal./size is your XDm ?

And NO!! to the trade unless its more money you have a $500-$600 gun you can find p-11's for around $200 lightly used. BTW unless the gun you mentioned being NIB comes from a dealer its still considered used .So it's actual value is such.Just something to consider when doing a trade.
