Shooting at Norris on Saturday (American made guns and calibers only ;)).

Then gonna go blow a wad on fireworks.

Sunday will be much grilling, partaking of frosty adult beverages and blowing off

the fireworks.

Might even read the Declaration of Independence at some point. :(

We generally pay to park in a lot on Shelby St, across from LP Field. Great view of the fireworks show and almost no traffic when it's time to hit the Interstate. We usually load up some coolers and take a small grill.

I'll probably be mowing the yard on the 4th. I also have some more tree trimming to do. Other than that, I'm going to try to sleep a little later than 5:30 on at least one of the 3 days that I'm off. At some point I'm going to do some rearranging on my den. That's where I always work on my firearms, so the plan is to get everything in order and set all of the parts out for my latest 10/22 project. If they're all sitting out like that it will drive me to finish that thing up finally. That's about all I know of since my g/f will most likely have to work every day.

Shooting guns of Freedom, grilling out, and maybe drink one or two beers. Will be standing by with fire extinguishers for when one of the hillbilly neighbors sets my woods on fire with their fireworks.

No rest for the weary, have to work on Monday.

Understandable, as you have one of the most important jobs in the universe.

BBQ and beer with family. Depending on when I get home and which part of the family,

there might be a few shots fired in between the fireworks:D Have a great 4th!

Me? Well tomorrow I'm working part of the day then off to swim with the grand children. Sunday having a cookout and more swimming (if I can get away with it), and Monday I have to start a sizeable job so no 3 day weekend for me.

I'm headed to the boat tonight and will be there until Monday evening. While there we will go by boat to watch the fireworks at Paris Landing State Park on Sunday night.

Work tomorrow for a little while then just enjoy the day. Probably head over to a church outing Saturday night for fireworks and watching the kids catch lighting bugs.

1/2 barrel of beer

Assorted things that make lots of noise

Shooting off our deck

He's a gunmaker?

Oh, and plans? None in particular.

I have a new plan. Aside from what I previously stated I am hopeful I will not remain pissed off all weekend long. Hopefully Guns of Freedom will help in this matter.

My plan is to do as little as possible. Did chores and errands yesterday to get them out of the way.

Money is too tight for store-bought fireworks this year, so I built a home-made flash pot out of odds and ends for my boys' entertainment.

Have some coffee.

Check out TGO.

Open new case of 7.62X25. (Should keep me busy for a while.)

Process aforementioned ammo into empty brass.

Clean processing equipment.

Crack open the new single malt I bought this week.

Salute our founding fathers!

Got my plans in action. Celebrating freedom. Ribs smokin' (genuine hickory wood smoke) on the grill, drinking cold sweet ice tea, just put the fixings on for another gallon of tea, picked a peck of beans and a few tomatoes, checking that all is well on TGO, heading out to pick a couple dozen "roastin'" ears and check the grill. The son and granddaughter due in a while. Life is good.
