NON-RESIDENT questions for CC'ing

Recommended Posts

I am in need of some info for my trip into TN.

I am a resident of PA. and will be down to visit my folks in TN. . I intend on carrying my M&P 40c concealed. I have my LTCF in PA. which luckly is honored in TN. Unfortuntly I have to pass through Maryland A whole whopping 15 minutes.

So here is some questions I have pertaining to carrying concealed in TN.

1- If say stopped by a LEO (speeding, accident, etc.), must I let the LEO know I am armed? Here in PA. you do not have to inform the LEO of being armed .

2-If by chance my 40c becomes UN-covered, ya know getting something off the shelf or shirt rides up. Will there be a issue with the LEO's over this?

3-Is it leagle to carry my 40c loaded and ready in my car, on me CC'ing?

4-When we go for dinner, is it leagle to carry while at a resturant thet serves beer/wine/whiskey? or is it a leagle NO-NO to do , I dont drink, but would be in a establishment that serves.

5- Are there any LAWS I shold be aware of ? Ya know the little gray laws that some might get their chops busted over.

I will be visiting my folks in the Kodak area for 2 weeks. Is there any specific shops/ranges/gunshows to look for? I will be therethis saturday the 3rd until the 17th.

Also are there any specific places to NOT carry.

Thank you in advance.

No.

No. Open carry is legal in TN with your permit.

3-Is it leagle to carry my 40c loaded and ready in my car, on me CC'ing?

Yes given you have your permit with you.

4-When we go for dinner, is it leagle to carry while at a resturant thet serves beer/wine/whiskey? or is it a leagle NO-NO to do , I dont drink, but would be in a establishment that serves.

Yes it is legal to carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol as long as they are not posted.

I will check out the range.

OH yeah traffic is bad on 66. We have been going down to Kodak for about 9 years now. My folks decided to retire there and call it home.

I decided to take a look at some property on this visit as well. Nevere know what the future holds. And I want a NFA friendly state, Dont want to part with the fun stuff.

Well off to bed got a long drive tomm...
