The people and government of this nation need to do a better job.

It is hearbreaking that many veterans suffer emotional difficulty directly related to their service and deployment situations. It's not anything new as I'm sure alot of Vietnam, Korea, or WWII vets could tell you.

Maybe if a better support system was in place to help these people things would be different. That will not come from government benefits/programs/whatever...my first comment refers to that.

I had one on my down trace soldiers commit suicide the other day. They have a COL/O-6 doing the 15-6 investigation. The USAR is taking these problems serious. We have been running a program for reintergration for our soldiers for 1 1/2 years. It is sad that some still slip through.
