I am on the Fluid width, I have a wider screen here at work.

I'm not sure about the subdued "Work Safe". Not sure if it really makes a difference whether the slide is there or not. Yes it disappears with the subdued, but the banner adds, which are typically firearm related, and the title/logo of the page at the top, gives it away as well.

Will have to try the fixed with on Safari and see how that works. I don't care for it on my larger monitor.

At this point, I'm on the word safe one, seeing how I like it.

Keep in mind that we're guaranteed to never slip past a watchful boss or a reasonably well-configured web filter, so my intent for the "Work Safe" style is to just offer something to folks who don't want a honkin gun at the top of the screen when passerby happen to glance as they walk through.

I know, but when I went to the subdued mode, the Sig Power . com banner was up there! Then the next banner was the Israeli Combat training banner!

subdued with fluid width.

I switched to subdued not because i was worried about people seeing the 1911 slide at work but because I really like the look of the flag. Very cool! :)

The flag does look good.

I actually preferred the fixed version on the Droid. It looks better and fills the screen. The work safe version is a great idea and I'll let you know how it works when I have to drag my a$# back in there but what usually gives it away at work are the gun avatars. If we could replace all those with kittens it would be swell. :)

I actually like the Subdued version best. I like the flag. The 1911 on the regular version looks a little cheesy to me.

Right now it's the Fixed width because that's about the only way to tell the hour and 1st digit of the minute a thread was last updated. On the fluid style you can only see the hour.

Yes, I'm on a square monitor. Is there anyway to adjust the column widths on the new posts search?
