If you like the way a Browning High Power feels in your hand. What other guns feels like it in hand.

Not worried so much about the quality or finish.

CZ 75 and the like are built around the hi-power grip. Even their P07 has a similar feel albeit polymer. Great guns and all fronts.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet....but the CZ 75 is an evolution of the BHP design much like the Beretta 92 is that of the Walther P38. They feel very similar.

Nothing feels or shoots like the BHP. I qualified for my HCP with a 1966 T Series that I still own and it is one of those guns that I will never sell.

Hmm. Did anyone mention the CZ75?

How about an EAA Wittness.......yet another fine Italian made weapon.

That's because they are CZ clones. :)

The CZ 75, and its derivatives, are great pistols, and there's plenty about them that's rightly compared to the virtues of the Browning/FN Hi-Power. I have a very nice CZ 75B, converted to single action with some nice parts, by a good friend. The pistol is laser beam accurate, and has a nice slim grip. I find the DA trigger reach of the CZ excessive, but the SAO conversion has really transformed my CZ 75B in that regard. Certainly, this tuned fire control is much better than the essentially stock fire control of my Browning Hi-Power, on which I've merely disabled the mag safety. Nonetheless, I have to say honestly that this superlative pistol fails to eclipse the Browning Hi-Power, for me
