This was going to be my Christmas present. My wife said that if I can't get it before Christmas, it's not going to be my "Christmas present".....So I said fine by me, I'll just make it an "after new years" present!!.......She didn't find that too funny.

Unless a person is big-time Wanted: Dead or Alive fan, I just don't see any real use for the thing. At least not in a pistol caliber.

If somebody made one in .30-30 or the like, then maybe. But as it is, any number of revolvers would be a better choice.

Who said anything about having a use for it? And I have never seen Dead or Alive. I have plenty of guns to handle most any USE I can come up with, this is strictly a toy!

Which is exactly my point. It's a very expensive toy, nothing more.

I love guns as much as anyone, but this looks completely useless to me. How can you achieve any accuracy from such a thing? Do yourself a favor and buy a 92 carbine instead.

If you lock it in a Ransom rest it's probably one accurate bitch, with that 12 inch barrel. Practical accuracy though... Well, I suppose if you have some really oddly-made hands?

Oh, and I'm curious about one thing; does it have that stupid safety that some of the '92 clones got stuck with? The pics all seem to show something on the top of the bolt, right in front of the hammer...

Trust me, this is not the most expensive toy I'll have, lol, theres a '66 ford in the garage with a 428, this ain't nothin. Its not about accuracy, its not about having a particular use for it, its just something fun. The reason they went with the pistol calibers is because they have less recoil from a short package like that, the reason it only holds 6 rounds is because its short, you can only fit 6 rounds (by the way, in 30-30 it'd probably only hold about 3). You don't buy it because you've always wanted a winchester carbine, you buy it because its neat, and unique, and just something fun to mess around with.

I think you missed the point; Thanks to those 3 "expensive toys", I no longer have anything to show off.
