Ok I just read the answer to my question in the post above mine.

So...I just want to make sure I've got this straight... as long as it's under 4" and you can see the clip from my pocket, I should be peachy?

I probably sound like a dummy because I feel like I'm reiterating only what you've guys have been saying, but my friend horrified me with that "it's against the law to carry a knife that goes past your middle finger" or some crap. I just want to make sure my new knife is alright to carry.

I'm probably going to replace it soon with one that was closer in size to the one I had, but for the time being, I need to know :D

There's no difference between concealed or non-concealed as far as TN knife law.
