I am now a gun owner, for the first time. I purchased the Dishwasher safe Glock G 23. I haven't figured out how to post pics, my files are too big they say, and i know that you all know what a G 23 looks like, it looks like all the other Glocks out there. Anyway I am fired up and am going to try and get out friday afternoon to shoot some rounds.

Happy new year.

Welcome from Anderson!

....Any Glock bashers gonna rear their heads?

Posted

Nope. I've never been a Glock "basher".

I just prefer other handguns after owning a couple of Glocks. :2cents:

But wTiger, the G23 was my favorite Glock. They are highly reliable and accurate handguns if you use factory ammo.

Welcome to TGO.

I will not bash your Glock even though I am a devout follower of the Church of JMB. Congrats on the purchase. Welcome to the long and winding road on which you will spend un-godly amounts of money on things that go bang. :2cents:

Welcome from a fellow Glock lover. Send me the pics to psycho99ATgmailDOTcom and I will post them for you!

Congrats and welcome to the club.

Best case scenario - It saves your life one day.

Worse case scenario - You spend LOTS of money on ammunition and other guns because you realize how much fun it is to sling lead at inanimate objects.

Or maybe that is reversed....anyway, Have fun shooting.

It was the G23 I shot that made me come around to Glocks. I had

up to then (I'm sorry to admit) turned my nose up at them. But they are

great. Even like the Baby glocks as well now. LOL!!!

I have read up on those. I plan on enjoying the .40s&W; if and/ or when the price of the rounds hurt, then i may consider the 9mm conversion. Its good to know that there are options.
