I thought the whole Idea was to have your weapon concealed? Not put a big billboard on your side saying hey look, I have a gun look at me.I guess I need one for when I Carry my AR out on the town.

why does this stupid topic keep coming up. How about they put a ? on the HCP test.

Should I carry a HCP badge perhaps. To those who answer yes no HCP.

We have enough youth. How about a fountain of "smart"?:D

yeah i think its a neat little toy. thats about it. it could get you in some serious trouble.

I agree....good for display or if your wanting to frame it up or something, but wearing it is another thing and that could be spending a night in the brig for impersonating as a LEO....no thanks!

I seriously doubt that a charge of impersonating and officer would stick if you were simply wearing the thing. Going and acting like a cop with it wold be another story.

That said though I could see someone getting stuck in jail until bond is posted and a judge dismissing it at a hearing. But just the same I do not care to spend a night in the pokey.

The things are laughable.

sheesh, this thread is still alive??LOL

cops hang their handcuffs on rearview mirrors??? where in Mexico??? ROFL

Posted

As far as I know there is no law against owning handcuffs, and someone really needs to show me the law against possessing them in plain sight before i will believe someone was cited for having them hanging off their mirror.

I know you can get cited for hanging ANYTHING from your mirror that may obstruct vision...I would imagine it had nothing to do with handcuffs...but I can see the violation...handcuffs can cause a pretty serious glare if they are hanging there...
