No, but you can bet someone pretty soon will be screaming for the US to "do something". Something here defined in monetary terms.

Yep.

Disliked throughout the world, but not enough to not take our money.

Actually I've been there on some medical mission trips. We based out of Kisumu. Not to say it isn't significant, but 300 is about the whole town. It is literally in the middle of nowhere and there isn't much any outside force can do. They would just flee to the Serengeti or Tanzania.

Elections over there are pretty messed up to begin with. Kenya is very nomadic and tribal. They do not understand Nationalism at all. Who ever wins the election is loyal to his tribe and everyone else gets squat .....or genocide.

In fact on a trip in 2000, they had just had elections. The former President went into the treasury and printed up about 2 million dollars and paid people to vote for him. He won reelection, but the exchange rate went from 1:7 to 1:210 US. bad for Kenya great for tourist. They just don't understand government.

They are basically stone age peoples forced into the 20th century. They are resisting.

And where have we heard that before?

Very similar, except there isn't a viable government that wants or can take control like in the U.S. Not a statement of right or wrong, just not apples to apples.
